A MESSAGE FROM EMILY & SOPHY (and Aunty Carol)

We have always wanted to offer a membership scheme to consolidate the Watersedge brand and reinforce the Watersedge community that we love and cherish.

We are launching this membership scheme as a ‘pilot’ with a limited membership of 30.  Firstly so that we can iron out any administrative hiccups. Secondly because we are unsure whether or not the membership scheme will work for us as well as the members.

With this in mind, we are committing to run this membership scheme for a period of 6 months.  We believe this will give us sufficient data so we can decide whether the scheme can be offered long term, whether we have to make any changes or indeed whether we wish to run a membership scheme at all. 

If you are willing to join us on this journey………… the membership scheme terms and conditions are detailed below.

MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Founders Membership includes:

10 x swims per month (regular swim sessions)

1 x monthly ‘members swim’ (last Monday evening of each month)

1 x sauna slot per month (regular sauna sessions)

10 x drinks per month*

1 x annual ‘members half-day retreat’*

24hr early access to events listed on the ‘Special Events’ page

I understand that to be eligible for the membership scheme I must hold a Sports Guardian (or equivalent) medical ID wristband and I must own a tow float. 

If you do not already hold a medical ID wristband, please go to the ‘Swim’ page on our website for details on how to order one.

I understand that the subscription to this membership scheme is payable monthly. The initial monthly membership payment is payable at the time the subscription is taken out and future monthly payments will be collected on the same day. 

IMPORTANT: This is a pilot membership scheme and a review will be undertaken after 6 months (ie by 31st August 2024) and we reserve the right to change or withdraw the membership at this point.

I understand that I will be sent a renewal reminder 7 days prior to my subscription renewal date.  At this point I can either renew my subscription for a further month or I can choose to cancel.

I understand that the offer of 10 swims per month and the 1 sauna per month can only be booked during regular swim and sauna sessions (at 1st March 2024: Sunday 9:30-12.30pm / Wednesday 8:00-9:45am and 5:00-6:45pm / Friday 8:00-11:00am).

I understand that the monthly ‘members swim’ will take place on the last Monday evening of each month and the session runs 6:00-7:30pm.

Appointments are bookable as per the usual route ie. pressing the ‘Reserve’ button and selecting the required category.

Having purchased a Founders Membership an Order Receipt will be sent by email detailing a ‘certificate code’. This code must be used to pay for appointments and must be entered on the appointment Checkout screen in the box titled ‘Package, gift or coupon code’ (which is found under the heading ‘Order Summary’).

I understand that the membership scheme includes the cost of 10 drinks and these can only be consumed at visits covered by the membership (ie. swims and saunas during regular swim/sauna sessions, monthly ‘members swim’ and annual ‘members half-day retreat’).  When claiming your drinks, please explain at the cafe trailer that you are a member so a record can be maintained.

I understand that to qualify for attendance at the ‘members half-day retreat’ I must have at least 6 months continuous membership.  The ‘members half-day retreat’ will take place in October 2024 on a date to be decided.  The retreat will be bookable via a private link that will be sent to you nearer the time.

I understand that I will be given 24 hours early access to any “one-off” event added (after 1st March 2024) to the “Special Events” page on the Watersedge website.  This access will be notified to me by an email sent 24 hours prior to appointments being open to non-members.

I understand that on Monday 25th March (ie. at the first monthly ‘members swim’) I will receive a goody bag.  The goody bag includes a branded key ring that can be used to claim 10% discount at Rise + Grind, a branded water bottle and a voucher worth £30 for spending on Watersedge activities that are not included in this membership.

I understand that all the offers included in this membership are non-transferable.
